The Swedetown Trails in Calumet have over 30 km of groomed cross country ski trails. There are trails for beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers. 5 km of the trails are lighted (until 9:00 pm) and there are also 7 km of snowshoeing trails.
In addition to the ski and snowshoeing trails, there is no fee sledding hill that is lighted until 8:00 pm. Donations for grooming and lights are appreciated.
Swedetown trails have a chalet with a snack bar, restrooms, changing rooms, and drinking water. Chalet hours are found here.

Directions: From Hancock, drive north on US 41 toward Calumet. Turn left on Agent Street, shortly past the Holiday Station (look for the Swedetown sign). Follow Agent Street for 0.5 miles to the Swedetown Chalet.
